Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

What states do you offer practice start up?

Answer:

We are nationwide.

Question:

How long will it take to get my provider numbers?

Answer:

We always ask that you allow 90-120 days for most plans; however Medicare & Medicaid can vary from state to state. In certain areas where an IPA is present and with our current contacts with various payers we may be able to have you delegated into some of the plans.

Question:

How long would it take to get my practice set up?

Answer:

We would recommend you call us as soon as you have made your decision to relocate whether it is 2 weeks from when you want to start to 12 months before you want to start.  We have set up practices in 2 weeks before; however we recommend approximately 120 days.

Question:

How involved are you “really” in the set up process?

Answer:

Great question! The good thing about us is that we can be as involved as you want us to be. We offer a turnkey approach in that we will do every aspect of the development of your new practice; from establishing your company name and obtaining your Tax ID# to watching your first patient walk through the door. We are here to educate you on all aspects of a successful practice.

Question:

How do I know if I am getting a “good deal” with my recruiter and hospital I am considering?

Answer:

If you have been given a proposal and/or contract to consider; we offer consulting for this type of service for “free”. We certainly will review the proposal with you and make our recommendations; again at no cost to you or the hospital. When we set up a practice we set them up to be successful; and one way to help you do that is to first be sure you are being compensated enough up front and that they are allocating enough money for your expected overhead.

Question:
If I choose you to start up my practice do you outsource that to another Consulting firm?
Answer:
No, we are very hands on and we will be very involved in all aspects of getting your practice going.
